What should I expect to spend?It is entirely up to you to decide. Our advice is to have a general plan about the scope of the project. Will it be a room at a time or the entire home? Generally it is one or two rooms at a time. Decide what it is you would like to change in that area. Be specific. Does your room need a simple touch up like new window treatments, carpeting and coordinating paint, or are you ready for an entire room makeover? Most people today are informed consumers and can determine a reasonable budget to share with the Interior Decorator. If you are unsure about what it will cost, we will be happy to give you an eyeball estimate for the entire design. Rates and FeesMarya Taylor Interiors accommodates whatever payment method is easiest for you. Some people prefer to work on an hourly fee basis; others prefer a small retainer in the beginning to plan a room. The retainer may be applied to the product purchased for the project, making our design services a nice value-add. Please note, limited to 50% of the entire purchase amount.
